If you follow any of my work, you know I am not shy about pushing out (you see what I did there?) as many maternity boudoir sessions as possible, but what about the mamas after they have their little nuggets. Well, let me introduce to you new mommy boudoir. Somewhere between being pregnant, having a baby, and then all the things that come with keeping said little human alive, a women can lose that feeling of “sexy'“. Let me tell you about how to find it! This AMAZING woman just had her little nugget a month and some change before this session (I know, she looks stellar, right?!). I don’t believe that her prerogative was to be reminded of how gorgeous she is, it was to surprise her sweet hubby, but in the process, she’s realized that even after recently having the most adorable baby on the planet, she was still the stunning woman that won his affection. This happened, kind of, inadvertently and she rocked it. Yes, you can be a mom and wife, but still have your autonomy. You can take care of them, love them, keep them alive and still be a sensual goddess.Read More
This girl right here! YAS! She reached out to me about doing a boudoir session just because and I was all the way here for it. Sometimes, I think clients feel like they have to have an excuse to do a boudoir session and that’s simply not the case. Sometimes, you love your body exactly the way it is and you want to document it in it’s perfect state of perfection. Sometimes, you need reassurance about your body so you can love it exactly the way that it is and seeing it through someone else’s lens is the perfect way to do that! No need to have a wedding, birthday, or anniversary, the occasion can just be because you’re you!Read More
This is an anti bridal, bridal boudoir session and HOLY SHIT IT’S AMAZING! The confidence this amazing woman exudes is all the way contagious! Her entire session was just me screaming “Yas!” uncontrollably and snapping portrait after portrait. Jessica showed up and showed out, reminding us all who the hell she is. I like to think of myself as a confident person, but right now, I am trying to get on her level. This fiery bombshell is a KWEEN but of course she already knows that. May we all be this fabulous one day!Read More

Her maternity boudoir session was just a complete blast full of florals, lace, and baby bump perfection! We all say it, “New Year, New Me!” Well as I look back over my personal life, my business, and my work I can truly say that I have grown but I am pretty much the same old me and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. At my core, I am still the person that I have always been. I enjoy laughing and having a good time. An artist, true and true, even to a fault. Emotional and sensitive, yet cold and abrasive at times. I care about others even to the detriment of myself and my own wellbeing sometimes and even in those moments I would still say that it was worth it. As it feels I am opening a new chapter in my life, with a few major changes and some serious life lessons learned, I wanted to celebrate me in the only way I would tell anyone else to celebrate, with a bad ass boudoir session! That’s right, I did one too and it wont be the last! You can expect one every year from here on out, because as difficult as it is to look at your own flaws in the editing room, I feel incredibly proud of myself and these portraits!Read More
If you would have told me 3 years ago that I would be where I am today—guest blogging about a super-sexy boudoir photoshoot that rocked my world for the better— I think I would have laughed you out of the room.
See, three years ago I was a staunchly faithful, Mormon woman living in the heart of Utah—a place the locals call, “Happy Valley”. For anyone unfamiliar with Mormonism, it’s a shortened term for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, or LDS Church.
When most people think of Mormonism, they think of TV shows about polygamy, like “Big Love,” “Sister Wives,” or “Three Wives, One Husband”. Polygamy is practiced in sects that branched off of the original Mormon Church, but luckily for me it wasn’t practiced in the “mainstream Mormon” world I grew up in.Read More
If you have followed my work for any extended length of time, you have probably seen the above image a million times. This was from my second boudoir session and it was the moment that I realized that I wanted boudoir to be my passion! I realized in this image that I was capable and could help women realize their beauty by letting them see themselves the way that I saw them. I coined the phrase “see yourself through someone else’s lens” because that is truly what most of us ladies deal with, only seeing ourselves from our point of view and all of the negative thoughts that we have created come right along with that. I realized that by shooting these boudoir session, I could give other women new perspective on themselves, fight against all of the terrible things that we think about ourselves and also give women new found confidence in the sweet support and comments from those who follow my work. If it weren’t for this session, I am not sure that I would be doing boudoir photography, so thank you to Caroline for trusting me with something that would help build the way to such an amazing career (that is just getting started!)Read More
LaTisha reached out to me years ago about working on a portrait session and we finally got around to it! She came to my studio, here in Raleigh NC and rocked it! This amazing woman showed up and showed out! Her natural beauty is almost overwhelming. She posses the kind of charm and warmth that people just gravitate towards. The coolness that just surrounds her is what most of us wish we had. All of these attributes, I believe come through in her boudoir session.Read More
